i carved carefully
on a scuplture
breaks away today,
and the bits in me
that somehow stayed
goes away forever
to that statue
that never needed them.
As if they are induced
to leave and break,
break and leave
and never be whole again ,
not even like those
grasses that are distinct but
look one from a distance.
